Reduces the cost burden of getting products/services certified under recognised industry-standard quality certifications (e.g., CE, ISO, CMMi, SA), improving startups' market credibility.
Who can apply
All KITS-registered startups in Karnataka; claims must be submitted within one year of applying for certification; each certification requires a separate application.
What you get
50% reimbursement of quality certification fees, with an overall ceiling of INR 6 lakh across a maximum of 5 industry-standard certifications during the policy period.
How to apply
Apply online at the fiscal incentive application portal with a notarized affidavit, self-attested certification copies, invoices/receipts and bank statements.
Best suited for
Startups seeking to obtain CE/ISO/CMMi or similar quality certifications to access larger enterprise or export customers.
