GRANTKARNATAKASTATE SCHEME

What it is for

Identifies and funds bottom-up, rural-impact innovations from farmers, artisans, labourers and technicians, aiming to reduce drudgery and improve socio-economic conditions in rural Karnataka.

Who can apply

Indian citizens domiciled in Karnataka; the innovation must not already be part of a government initiative and must not have received prior GoK/GoI funding; applicant needs Voter ID/Ration Card and proof of profession.

What you get

Total funding of INR 1 crore per year across two cohorts, providing individual grants of up to INR 4 lakh per selected innovator, plus incubation/acceleration support from assigned K-Tech Partners.

How to apply

Apply online via the Call for Application process; includes district/taluka-level promotion, KITS data-sufficiency check, jury evaluation, and Expert Advisory Committee approval.

Best suited for

Individual rural innovators (farmers, artisans, technicians) in Karnataka with a practical, locally-relevant innovation who have not previously received government funding for it.
