Fund of Funds for Startups (FFS)

EQUITYSTARTUP-SPECIFIC
Stage
Growth / scaling
Indicative amount
₹10,000 cr corpus; invested via SEBI-registered AIFs

What it is for

Deepens India's venture capital ecosystem by committing government capital into SEBI-registered AIFs, which must then invest at least double that amount into startups.

Who can apply

You cannot apply to FFS directly. Growth-stage, DPIIT-recognised startups access this indirectly via a SEBI-registered AIF backed by FFS.

What you get

Equity investment via an AIF's own fund — not a grant or loan.

How to apply

Get DPIIT recognition, build your pitch, and approach FFS-backed AIFs the same way you would any VC fund.

Best suited for

A growth-stage startup genuinely raising a VC round — not a first-time founder seeking initial capital.
